How to create a new helpdesk ticket

We’ve been busy over here to make things better with our support and services. There are many different ways that you can reach out to us for support or just a quick question – by email, the new support portal, our new chat session and our endpoint management agents. Please read below to learn about all of these options.

 
  1. New Support Portal - https://support.gulf-pointe.com/ – Come take a look at this new portal that you can register with to access all of you current and past tickets that you’ve had open with us going forward. You can also dive into our new knowledgebase that we will be adding to over time so that you can easily find answers to common problems. There’s also a Community forum that you can post on if you have questions. You can even sign up on the portal to create your account and get started today. 
  1. New Helpdesk Emailhelpdesk@gulf-pointe.com – This should be your go to email for all of your support requests. Once submitted, a new ticket will be created and you will get a response back with the SR# and a link to the portal right away. One of our engineers will get back to you and get your request handled right away. 
  2. New Chat Feature – you can easily talk with our support team via our new Chat feature located on our support site - https://support.gulf-pointe.com/. Just click on the Cat button in the lower right corner of the portal and start a session with us today.

        

  1. Endpoint Management Agent - For all of our endpoint managed clients, you should now see a new icon on the system tray that looks like this - .  You can click on that icon to bring up a menu with a list of options including a support ticket request. You can easily click on the Green Plus sign in the field to attach an image or grab a screenshot of your desktop with just 1 click. It’s that simple and makes fixing your issue that much easier.
